Abe Parker

Abe Parker is an alternative pop singer, songwriter, and producer who pairs honest, introspective lyrics with hook-laden melodies and warm, pop-soul production. He flirted with success with his 2021 single "Empty House" and dove headfirst into the mainstream the following year with the viral hit "Butterflies." Born in the small Ohio town of Blue Rock, Parker was raised in rural Texas, where he developed an appreciation for a wide array of musical styles. After graduating high school, he moved to Austin to pursue music full-time. A talented engineer who honed his writing, mixing, and producing skills from his home studio, Parker released an eponymous EP in 2014, with the full-length Home Park appearing in 2018. He also wrote and produced for other artists, including David Kushner, Marc E Bassy, Lecrae, Hulvey, Brent Morgan, and Crowder. His music started gaining traction in 2021, with the singles "Empty House" and "Stupid Face" garnering international attention. In early 2022, he released a short snippet of a new song he was working on. The clip went viral, forcing Parker to complete the piece. Focusing on themes of love and hope, the resulting "Butterflies" accumulated millions of streams, pushing Parker and his soulful alt-pop emissions into the limelight. He capitalized on the song's success the following year with "Puppet on a String" and "Until Now."
