Aaron Yan
Wu Keng-lin (November 20, 1985), also known as Aaron Yan, is a Taiwanese actor and singer that rose to prominence as the co-founder of the Mandopop boy band Fahrenheit. Born in Taipei, Yan moved to the US when he was a child and then returned to Taiwan with his family five years later. After posting a couple of pictures on a public blog, he was scouted by Comic Productions and made his acting debut in the early aughts on the Taiwanese dramas I Love My Wife, It Started with a Kiss, and KO One. In 2005, Yan teamed up with fellow singers Wu Chun, Jiro Wang, and Calvin Chen to form the boy band Fahrenheit, with whom he released three albums between 2006 and 2010. He then embarked on a solo career with his debut EP The Next Me, which became the third best-selling Taiwanese album of 2011. Yan's debut album, The Moment, finally arrived in 2012. A second EP titled The Cut saw the light in 2014 and was followed by his 2015 Japanese singles “Moisturizing,” which made its way to the Top 10 on the Oricon Singles Chart, and “Gelato.” His third Japanese single, “Monochrome Dandy,” dropped in 2016 and also entered the Top 10 in Japan, peaking at Number 8. Two years later, Yan surprised his fans with not one but two full-length albums: Where I Belong and Dear Monster, both released in 2018.
