Julie Doiron's second effort, under her own name, is a powerful, maturing work. The layering of instruments on Will You Still Love Me? surpasses that of Loneliest in the Morning. Guitar parts boost her vocal melodies, while vibes add an ethereal element. The vocals carry the record to great heights. In the power of her voice, there exists a calming feel. The doubling of the vocal tracks creates great harmonies, while use of the syllables of words with power creates wonderful syncopated singing. The guitar picking style sounds like a merry-go-round, starting up and slowing down according to emotion through the music and singing. Many of the songs, like "Will You Still Love Me?," have a middle which sounds as if they were at the end, carrying a sad lingering, then pick-up speed and hope in the lyrics. The endings are beautifully open-ended. "For Me" ends the record with twinkling guitar creating a pulse of tone. The Wurlitzer is added in with the same wonderful element of pure tone as that of the vocals, bass, and guitar. The dueling guitars on the final track are much like that of Dos.
