Wolf Maahn
A German born (Berlin, to be exact, March 25, 1955) singer and songwriter, Wolf Maahn had a number of hits in his homeland, beginning with his first band, Food Band, in the late '70s. After releasing a few collections with that group, Maahn released his first solo single in 1982. A debut full-length, Deserteure, followed soon after, and over the next 25-plus years, Maahn released another 17 albums, including a couple of live unplugged affairs and a few compilations. 2008 would also see the re-release -- in deluxe, expanded format -- of his popular solo debut.
