Salman Ali

Born on June 2nd, 1998 in Punhana, Mewat, Haryana, India, Salman Ali rose to fame after winning the 10th season of Indian Idol in 2018. He launched his career as a playback singer the following year, releasing "Jai Ho" from Irfan Kamal's Indian Hindi-language action drama film Satellite Shankar. That same year, he also sang "Awara" for the action-comedy Dabangg 3 as well as the theme tune for the Indian historical TV series Chandragupta Maurya. In subsequent years, he landed singing projects for the fourth and fifth studio albums by Himesh Reshammiya, Moods with Melodies (2021) and Himesh Ke Dil Se (2021) respectively, also adding his vocals to the 2022 song "Bas Tum Mere Paas Raho" by composer Himesh Reshammiya. In 2022, he joined the second season of the Indian singing reality show Superstar Singer as a mentor/captain.
