Sachin Warrier

Playback singer and composer Sachin Warrier - born in Kozhikode, Kerala, India on October 15, 1989 – is best known for his work in Malayalam cinema (aka Mollywood). While still working a full-time job as a software engineer, he began a side career as a playback singer in 2010 and was featured on the soundtrack to the film Malarvaadi Arts Club. His playback career continued with work on such films as The Metro (2011), Thattathin Marayathu (2012), and several films in 2013: 10:30 AM Local Call, Good Bad & Ugly, SIM, Neram, Left Right Left, Thira, For Sale, Escape from Uganda, Rasputin, and Philips and the Monkey Pen. With his career as a singer in full swing, Sachin Warrier left his full-time career to focus on his music. He also began to write and record his own solo material alongside music for advertisements. In 2015, he released “Naam,” which was his first independent release as a singer, songwriter, and musician. Continuing his career as a playback singer, Sachin Warrier composed the music for 2016’s Aanandam and sang two of his own compositions: “Dooreyo” and “Nilaavil Allame.” He also composed the music for Oraayiram Kinakkalaal (2018), Katheyondu Shuruvagide (2018), and Shibu (2019). In 2023, Sachin Warrier collaborated with female vocalist Thamarai on the song “Netrum Indrum,” which was taken from the film Marakkuma Nanjam.
