Norm Ender

Born Ender Eroğlu in İzmir, Turkey on March 25th, 1985, Norm Ender is a Turkish rap star, musician and songwriter who launched his career in the Norm group with Erman Altınoğlu. He released his first rap song after dropping out of high school in 2001 and achieved national fame when he took part in the Academy Turkey music competition program, which was broadcast on ATV TV channel in 2004. It was his staunch refusal to comply with the show's pop music remit that led to the creation of a new rap music course. After completing his military service, he began his solo rap career in 2010 with the album Içinde Patlar and dropped a new music video, "Çıktık Yine Yollara" in 2011. Following a five-year break from music, he returned in 2016 with a shiny new major label deal and a new album under the EMI-Universal Music Turkey label. The Aura LP came in 2017, but he quit the label after its release. Over the next few years, he continued to drop tracks and music videos, including a razor-sharp satire of the Turkish rap scene, "Mekanın Sahibi" (Owner of the Venue), in 2019 and "Kediler Aslan Olmaz (Cats Don't Be A Lion)" in 2021. To celebrate his birthday in 2022, he released the song "Sus Artık (Hush now)".
