Marshmallow

A quartet from Clermont-Ferrand (Puy-de-Dôme), Marshmallow started out in the 2000s with a rock 'n' roll profession of faith: to criss-cross France in minibuses and play wherever possible. Mashmallow's hard-earned diet has enabled them to forge a light-hearted sound somewhere between English pop and French-style pop rock. Yarol Poupaud spotted this band of buddies with a sense of humor. No longer struggling to come up with plans on the fly, welcome to the studio with Mark Plati for the recording of the Marshmallow EP, which saw the light of day in January 2012. Buoyed by tracks like "Bloody Mary à la paille" and "A l'heure d'été" , whose video is a delicious pastiche of an episode of Hélène et les Garçons, the album A l'Heure d'Eté was ready in June 2012.
