Junkfood Junkies
One of Germany's more successful trance acts, Junkfood Junkies debuted in 1998 with "Work It" and followed with several other popular tracks such as "J.U.N.K." and "The Journey." The duo, comprised of Jens Kindervater and Bernd Johnen, met in 1994 at a local record store in their hometown of Aachen, Germany. The began producing club tracks as the Gatekeepers in 1995 but attained much more success as Junkfood Junkies. Of the duo's singles, "The Journey" became a chart-topping club track across Europe just as several of its other singles -- "J.U.N.K.," "For You Mind," "Funky Horn," "Hands Up" -- had to a somewhat lesser extent.
