Jersey
Burlington, Ontario, punks Jersey reunited singer/guitarist Greg Taylor and drummer Kevin Harris, who previously teamed in the emocore outfit Grade; with Believe's Johnny Lubera on bass, the group debuted in 1998 with No Turning Back, signing to the Fueled by Ramen label to issue the follow-up, The Battle's Just Begun, a year later. The band also included guitarist Sean McNabb. Definition appeared in spring 2001, and at some point, Jordan Hastings replaced Harris behind the drum kit. The band signed to Virgin in 2003 and producer Dan Brodbeck (Headstrong, Garnet Rogers) signed on to produce Jersey's fourth album, Generation Genocide, released in spring 2004. Jersey announced its dissolution the next year. Hastings went on to play with Alexisonfire.
