Imran Khan

Pakistani and Dutch Singer songwriter Irman Khan was born May 28, 1984 in The Hague, Netherlands. Though he first started working on a music career in the early 2000s, he did not have a notable success until the 2007 single “Ni Nachleh” started to generate some online buzz helped by his signing to Prestige Records. The follow-up, 2009’s “Amplifier” would eventually garner over 100 million views online, an accomplishment matched by his next single, “Bewata”. His debut album, 2009’s Unforgettable, collected those singles and a dozen more songs. Nominated for a UL Music Asian Award for Best Album, the LP gave Imran Khan the confidence to leave Prestige to form his own record label, IK Records. He reunited with longtime producer Eren E. for “Satisfya”, a 2013 single for IK Records that became such a success that the video would eventually be viewed more half a billion times online. He moonlighted as a Bollywood performer in the 2015 film Tevar and continued to release new singles that year including “Imaginary”, which would win the Brit Asia TV Music Award for Best Music Video and Best UK Single. He would issue more singles through the rest of the decade including 2016’s “Hattrick”, 2017’s “President Roley”, and 2018’s “Knightridah”.
