Ian Flanigan

A country singer known for his distinctive, gravelly vocals and troubadour lifestyle, Ian Flanigan had already logged a decade of touring before he found mainstream success after appearing on season 19 (2020) of The Voice. In 2022, he made his major-label debut with the singles "Under a Southern Sky" and "Last Name on It." A native of Saugerties, New York, Flanigan started composing songs at 11. After graduating from high school, he hit the road and never looked back, but the rigors of touring life took their toll, and by his late twenties, he had checked himself into rehab. Shortly after that, he met his wife, Ayla, and the two started their own production company and began touring full-time from their motor home. Flanigan's last gig in 2020 at a Nashville honky-tonk (right before the Covid-19 lockdown hit) served as an unintended audition for the popular reality television series The Voice. Impressed by his performance of Zac Brown Band's "Colder Weather," he joined judge Blake Shelton's team and ultimately finished third place on the show. Flanigan's friendship with Shelton yielded the 2021 collaborative single "Grow Up," which became a streaming hit and led to a record deal with Reviver Music. Flanigan kicked off 2022 with the singles "Under a Southern Sky" and "Last Name on It."
