Farewell To Freeway
A metalcore band based out of Guelph, Ontario, Farewell to Freeway are fronted by lead singer and guitarist Chris Lambert with his brother Adam Lambert on bass, Drew Harwood on guitar, Richie Gregor on drums, and Michele Walter on keyboards. The group released an EP, In These Wounds, produced by Mike Borkosky, on Year of the Sun Records in 2006, then signed to Victory Records, which issued the full-length Definitions in 2008. The band has toured across Canada numerous times, opening for acts like Underoath, Eighteen Visions, Hopesfall, the Black Maria, Alexisonfire, Protest the Hero, Misery Signals, and Silverstein, expanding its fan base at each stop. Despite a heavy touring schedule, the band followed up quickly, releasing Only Time Will Tell in 2009. In 2010, Michele Walter parted ways with Farewell to Freeway as they were entering the studio to being work on their third album with At the Drive-In producer Eric Arena. Their third album, Filthy Habits, was released early in 2011.
