Fabio Bonizzoni
Fabio Bonizzoni is an Italian harpsichordist and organist. He studied both instruments with Ton Koopman, and became a specialist in early music performance, appearing with such period ensembles as the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, Le Concert des Nations, Europa Galante, and his own orchestra, La Risonanza. He has performed across Europe in concerts and music festivals, given lectures and master classes, and taught harpsichord at the Conservatory of Trapani in Sicily. Bonizzoni completed a series of recordings of George Frederick Handel's Italian cantatas with La Risonanza on the Glossa label, and he has also recorded music by Alessandro Scarlatti, Johann Sebastian Bach, Jean-Baptiste Lully, and other Baroque composers.
