Expire
Although they could easily be mistaken for a '90s hardcore band with their tough-guy swagger and punishing breakdowns, Expire started crafting their throwback sound in 2009. Signed to Bridge Nine Records, the band evokes the crunching sound that used to dominate labels like Victory Records, pushing hardcore punk to previously unseen levels of aggression. Expire made their debut in 2012 with Pendulum Swings, and, despite their relentless touring schedule, managed to deliver a follow-up, Pretty Low, in 2014.
