Brave Girls
After stepping out in 2011 and making a moderate splash on the K-pop scene with a clutch of releases that included 2016 EP High Heels, Seoul's K-pop troupe Brave Girls enjoyed an unexpected career boost in 2021 when their 2017 track "Rollin'" went viral. Initially comprising a five-member unit, the group has undergone numerous lineup changes over the years and is currently composed of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji and Yuna. Brave Girls unveiled their debut single album, The Difference, in 2011 and a succession of EPs and singles followed, including 2016's popular dance-pop bop "Deepened" and the dreamy disco-pop of 2020's "We Ride." After being catapulted back in the spotlight with 2017's "Rollin'" thanks to a viral YouTube compilation, in March 2021 Brave Girls received their first music show win on Inkigayo and their win broke the record for being the longest time period from debut to first win for any girl group in K-pop history.
