Assaulter
Sydney, Australia's Assaulter were founded in 2004 by vocalist/guitarist/bassist Simon Berserker (of Destroyer 666 fame), who proceeded to enlist a few guest drummers for the recording of demos over the next two years, before debuting his project's blackened thrash sound with a 7" single entitled "Subservience" in 2008. A full-length Assaulter CD featuring second guitarist T. Hellfinder and session drummer Luke Bonic followed in short order later that year, and 2009 saw the release of a split single with compatriot thrashers Trench Hell, suggesting that Assaulter were more comfortable with bite-sized releases than long-players.
