Alana Springsteen

A country singer with a soulful voice and earnest songwriting style, Alana Springsteen had a publishing deal by the time she was in her mid-teens. She released her debut EP, Alana Springsteen, in 2019. By then a young adult, she delivered two companion EPs with 2021's History of Breaking Up (Part One), followed by 2022's Part Two. In 2023, she released her full-length debut, Twenty Something, on Columbia Records. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Springsteen grew up singing in church and got her first guitar at the age of seven. During weekend visits, her uncle would teach her chords and technique. She wrote her first song when she was nine and quickly decided it was something she wanted to pursue as a vocation; she sang the national anthem at an MLB game the same year, and visited Nashville for the first time a year later. Springsteen was only 14 when she moved to Nashville and signed her first publishing deal. She went on to write songs while still in her teens that were recorded by Disney actor Asher Angel and country singer Caitlyn Shadbolt, among others. Her own eponymous debut EP appeared in 2019, with Acoustic Sessions following later in the year. She had a minor viral hit with the single "Always Gonna Love You," which appeared on both EPs. By the time she was 20, Springsteen had returned with more EPs, beginning with 2021's History of Breaking Up (Part One). It was joined a year later by History of Breaking Up (Part Two). She eventually signed with Columbia Records NY/Sony Music Nashville and in 2023 delivered her full-length debut album, Twenty Something. Initially released as two EPs, Twenty Something: Messing It Up and Twenty Something: Figuring It Out, the album included the single "Goodbye Looks Good on You" featuring Mitchell Tenpenny. It reached number 17 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.
