Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi

Not much is known about the German rap duo Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi. In their music videos, the two are embodied by faceless anime characters. In summer 2017, the duo uploaded the video for the track "Diamonds" online. The song is a mixture of cloud rap and neo-R&B and embodies current German rap. A short time later, "Diam onds" was discussed by Summer Cem in a JAM-FM interview and found to be great. This brought Yung Kafa & Kücük Efend to the attention of a wider audience. A new video for "Diamonds" is released at the end of 2018 and is viewed more than three million times. In the same year, the EP Helmut is released with the tracks "New York" and "Saphir", among others. in 2019, the singles " Cerez", "Im Café", "Hunnis" and finally the collaboration with the rappers GRiNGO and Ezhel in the track "Summer of My Life" followed, which was clicked on more than two and a half million times. After releasing more singles, the remix of the song "Run Run Run" by Capo with Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi is released in 2020. In the same year, the album Yin and Yang is released with the singles "Yoga" with SSIO and "Bungalow auf Bali" with Celo Abdi. The rap duo also go on their Weit Weit Weg tour in September 2020 and give their first interview. 2021 sees the release of the tracks " Sturm" and "Kanatlar" with Cem Adrian.
