Rim'K
Born Abdelkarim Brahmi-Benalla on June 21, 1978, to Algerian parents, French rapper Rim' K got his start in the group he helped create in 1994, 113. Including other members A.P. and Mokobe, 113 were successful enough to allow Rim' K to go off on his own and start a solo career. Released in 2004, his first album contained the single "Rasheed System," including singer Chaba Zahouania. A Top 20 hit in France, the second Rim' K full-length, Famille Nombreuse (Large [or Numerous] Family), was released on November 26, 2007.
