Land of Color

Land of Color are a Nashville-based CCM duo comprised of singer/songwriters Gary Rea and Thomas Ewing whose lush melding of dynamic indie folk, pop, and African rhythms first manifested itself on 2017's Many Lands, which they released under their previous name, HOLY MNTN. The group rechristened themselves Land of Color for their 2018 self-titled follow-up. Rea, a native of South Africa, first met Colorado-raised Ewing at a conference in Montana in 2015. Over the next few years, the two songwriters began working on their distinctive brand of worship music, combining the South African rhythms of Rea's world with an American indie folk and pop sensibility, resulting in HOLY MNTN's 2017 album, Many Lands. Basing themselves out of Nashville, they changed their name to Land of Color in 2018 and signed a deal with Provident Music imprint Remade Records. A self-titled EP appeared later that year, marking their first release under their new banner.
