Helen Stellar
Shoegaze-influenced rock trio HELEN STELLaR feature the talents of vocalist/guitarist Jim Evens, bassist Dustin Robles, and drummer Clif Clehouse. Originally hailing from Chicago, IL, the band moved to Los Angeles, CA, in 2002. Eventually, KCRW radio DJ Nic Harcourt began playing the band's self-produced The Newton EP on his popular Morning Becomes Electric show. Word of mouth grew and the band found itself featured in director Cameron Crowe's 2005 film Elizabethtown. HELEN STELLaR released the double LP A Prayer to Myself on the Vinyl Films label in 2006.
