Chantal Chamberland
Born December 1, 1965, Chantal Chamberland is a jazz singer and guitarist from Quebec, Canada. Known for her sensuous and smoky voice, she has released numerous contemporary jazz albums in her career beginning with the little known 1995 self-released album On Solid Ground. She restarted her career in 2002 with the album This Is Our Time, introducing listeners to the smooth, smoky jazz she is known for. Further albums include Serendipity Street (2003), Dripping Indigo (2005), The Other Woman (2008), Chantal No. 5 (2012), Soirée (2014), Autobiography (2016) and Temptation (2019). Chamberland has headlined concerts from Hong Kong to Cartagena. The success of her albums and live shows cements her role as one of the finest female interpreters of jazz today.
