Alpa Gun
A Berlin-born hardcore rapper of Turkish descent, Alpa Gun is affiliated with the Aggro Berlin collective as part of their Sektenmuzik subsidiary label. Born in the Schöneberg district of Berlin, he began collaborating with Aggro Berlin in 2005. That year he was featured on Aggro Ansage, Vol. 5, one of the label's mixtape-style samplers; Heiße Ware, a mixtape hosted by Tony D and B-Tight; Dein Lieblingsalbum, an album by Deine Lieblingsrapper; and numerous songs by MOK, a fellow Aggro Berlin rapper of Turkish descent. Alpa Gun continued to be heavily featured on Aggro Berlin releases in subsequent years. He made his full-length solo debut with Geladen und Entsichert (2007), released by Sektenmusik; the Ausländer maxi-single accompanied the album's release. His second album, 2010's Almanci was also released on the Sektenmuzik label, but failed to chart as high as its predecessor. Temporarily disillusioned with the music industry, Alpa Gun turned to acting, earning a sizable role in the 2012 film Blutzbrüdaz. While moving forward with his newfound acting career, he resumed making music, releasing the album Ehrensache in 2012. A six episode stint in the ZDF crime mini-series Verbrechen nach Ferdinand von Schirach followed in 2013 along with another new album Alles Kommt Zurück the same year.
