aimyon
Japanese singer/songwriter Aimyon's interest in music began a young age, and she started writing catchy pop tracks after graduating from school.
Born in Nishinomiya, her grandmother aspired to be a singer and her father was an audio engineer. She began writing songs in middle school after her English teacher gave her an acoustic guitar. After graduating from high school, she was uploading music online, catching the attention of Lastrum Music Entertainment; this led to the release of her debut track "Anata Kaibou Junaika (Shine)" and two mini-albums, Tamago and Nikumarekko Yo ni Habakaru, in 2015. The following year she signed to Warner subsidiary Unborde and released the track "Ikite Itanda yona." Her debut album, Excitement of Youth, appeared in 2017. This was followed by her second album, 2019's Momentary Sixth Sense, and her third album, Heard That There's Good Pasta, was released in 2020.
