Exterio

Quebec rock band founded in 1992 in Île Bizard (Canada), originally formed by Daniel Mayrand, Jessy Fuchs, Nicolas Desormeaux and Sylvain Bolduc. Exterio released a cassette in 1994 entitled A.C.C.T.V.. In 1997, the group took a break, then reformed in 2000. Daniel Gosselin left in 2002, to be replaced by Marc Loiselle. The same year, the group founds its own label, Slam Disques. In May 2003, they released their first album, Vous Êtes Ici , on the same label, with four songs playing on Quebec radio stations and the MusiquePlus music video channel: " Bonhomme 7h ", " Chien blanc ", " Whippet " and a cover of Léandre's Quebec hit, " Goodbye My Love ". The band undergoes a number of changes prior to their second opus, with Marc Loiselle being replaced by Martin Brouillard and Nicolas Cyr taking Nicolas Desormeaux's place. On May 24, 2005, Exterio released the album Le Délire du Savant Fou. In the autumn of 2008, the band prepare a trilogy album entitled L'Album Monstre. The first part hits stores in November 2008, the second in March 2009 and the third in July 2009. On April 7, 2011, Exterio announces the end of the band. In the summer of 2012, Marc Loiselle and Nicolas Desormeaux form the group Akousterio, which covers the band's hits in acoustic format. In June 2014, Exterio revived and performed at the Montebello Rock Festival. The band celebrates its 25th anniversary on June 8, 2018 with a concert at Club Soda. In April 2021, all the band members over the years reunite and release the single " La Trace ".
