TWS

Combining bright, sleek pop and rap, TWS is a chart-topping K-pop band. The six-piece released their debut EP, Sparkling Blue, in early 2024 and went straight to number one in Korea. Consisting of leader Shinyu along with Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin, TWS was formed by Pledis Entertainment in late 2023. The name was accompanied by the longer tagline "24-seven with us," with Pledis categorizing their music as "boyhood pop," about the everyday lives of boys. (Shinyu was the only member to have turned 20 by the time of their debut.) The group's debut single, "Oh Mymy: 7s," appeared in early January 2024 and was followed by their first EP, Sparkling Blue, before the end of the month. The EP went straight to number one in Korea, and TWS were also an instant success in Japan, where Sparkling Blue went to number three.
