Chico Rose, born Chicco de Reus in Rotterdam, is a Dutch DJ and producer. After being introduced to electronic music by his father in 2010, he developed a desire to produce tracks. Stylistically at home primarily in progressive house, Chico Rose initially released the singles "El Sonido" (2012) and "Style" (2013), before the track "Play on" (feat. Stefan Vilijn) brought him greater attention in 2014. After that, heavyweights of the EDM scene such as Afrojack began to use his sounds for their sets. After further single releases such as "Everest" (feat. Joey Dale) in 2016 and "Don't Stop" (feat. Chasner) in 2017, Chico Rose and Afrojack crossed paths again in 2018 - this time as collaboration partners. The results include "2012" (2018), "The Bass" and the poppy future house track "Sad" (both 2019). in 2020, Chico Rose reinterpreted the former hit by R&B band TLC "No Scrubs" as a dance number. With " You Got The Love" , he once again joined forces with his long-time creative partner Afrojack in 2021.
