Deng Lun

Allen Deng (born on 21 October 1992) is a Chinese film and television actor and singer. Born in Shijiazhuang, in Hebei Province, he attended the prestigious Shanghai Theatre Academy to become an actor. After graduation, Allen Deng moved to Beijing in pursuit of his goal. He made his acting debut in the 2013 television drama Flowers in Fog, and has since appeared in several popular TV dramas. In 2016, he won the Influential Young Actor of the Year award at Tencent Video Star Awards, followed by the Most Promising Actor award at the 14th Esquire Man At His Best Awards the following year. His singing career has been intertwined with his acting career, as many of his songs appear on the soundtrack albums accompanying his films and shows. In 2017 he performed the songs “The Sky is Dark” and “Love What I Love” for the Ode to Joy 2 soundtrack. Along those lines, he contributed to the Sweet Dreams, Ashes of Love, and Revival Of The Palace Museum / Treasure in the Forbidden City original soundtracks, among others. 2019 saw the release of the single “Waiting for Love," part of the original soundtrack to his romantic comedy film Begonia Rogue. In 2020 he sang the song “Grave of Infatuation,” part of Netflix’s epic fantasy film The Yin-Yang Master: Dream of Eternity, directed by Guo Jingming.
