Triumph of Death

Triumph of Death is a tribute band honoring Swiss extreme metal legends Hellhammer, who have achieved near-mythic status in the metal underground despite their brief, two-year tenure in the early '80s. Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Tom Gabriel Warrior, who led Hellhammer before founding the hugely influential Celtic Frost in 1984, the band takes its name from the third track on Hellhammer's lone studio EP, Apocalyptic Raids. Triumph of Death is comprised of Warrior, André Mathieu (guitar/vocals), Jamie Lee Cussigh (bass), and Tim Iso Wey (drums). In 2023, the group released Resurrection of the Flesh, a concert LP compiled from three performances that year in Houston, Munich, and Portugal.
