The White Tie Affair
Chicago indie rockers the White Tie Affair leaven their sprightly pop-punk sound with a dash of electronic dance rock influences. The core of the group is singer Chris Wallace and guitarist and keyboardist Sean P, who formed the band in Chicago as a duo in 2006. Adding guitarist Ryan McClain, bassist Ryan Cook, and drummer Tim McLaughlin as their onstage rhythm section, the band signed with Epic Records and released their debut album, WALK THIS WAY, in early 2008, and had established themselves as pop radio hitmakers by the following year.
