The Long Lost
Experimental electronic musician and producer Alfred Darlington had been performing and recording under the Daedelus moniker for most of the 2000s, along with pursuing several other side projects. One of those outside collaborations was with his wife, singer/songwriter Laura Darlington. The couple had first met and dated in high school, only to break up and then reunite years later to begin working on loungey, electroacoustic pop under the alias the Long Lost. After nearly a decade of progress, their self-titled debut was finally released on Ninja Tune Records in 2009.
