The Living Tombstone

The Living Tombstone is an electronic duo known for their hyper-kinetic, video game-inspired pop. They emerged to viral attention for their videogame and My Little Pony-inspired tracks and remixes, including 2014's "Five Nights at Freddy's" which hit the dance top 10 after it was featured in the film adaptation of the game. Along with supplying music for games like Sound Mind and Half Life 2: Nightmare House, they have released original albums, including 2020's Zero One and 2025's Rust. The group initially started in 2011 as the solo project of Israeli-American producer Yoav Landau. A fan of the animated TV series My Little Pony, he began posting remixes of songs from the show to an online community. Buoyed by the positive response, he moved to his other passion, videogames, producing songs inspired by games like Overwatch and Five Nights at Freddy's. In 2016, he relocated to New York City where he met singer and musician Sam Haft via mutual friends. The pair joined forces and started co-writing and producing original songs, including 2017's "My Ordinary Life." In 2020, The Living Tombstone released their debut studio album, Zero One, featuring singles like "Drunk" and "Sunburn". At the same time, they started producing music for videogames, including the indie horror title In Sound Mind, the virtual reality rhythm game Beat Saber, and the Half-Life 2 mod Nightmare House and Nightmare House: Reimagined. They also co-developed the music-based strategy AudioClash: Battle of the Bands. In 2023, their song "Five Nights at Freddy's" was featured in the closing credits of the feature film adaptation of the game, helping to push the song to number four on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Songs chart. In 2025, they delivered their sophomore full-length album, Rust.
