TEEN BLUSH
Chicago's Teen Blush makes atmospherically gothy, 1980s-style synth pop, as heard on 2020's Between My Teeth.
Emerging in 2020 in Chicago, Teen Blush is essentially the solo vehicle for singer, songwriter, instrumentalist Ken Foss. Drawing inspiration from bands like Depeche Mode and Joy Division, Foss began posting tracks online, beginning with the three-song EP Between My Teeth. In 2021, he released the stand-alone track "Ghost." The longer It's a Pleasure to Be Here EP, arrived the following year, spawning the singles "Turning" and "Other Faces."
