Sonus Umbra
Sonus Umbra (the sound of shadow) is a prog band formed in Mexico. They actually sprang from a short-lived group named Radio Silence. Upon re-forming, Radio Silence discovered that their moniker was a shared one and chose the name Sonus Umbra to replace it. Sonus Umbra at that time was Andrés Aullet (vocals, guitar, and keys), Ricardo Gómez (guitar), and Luis Nasser (bass), and they had recently moved from their homeland to the United States shortly before making this name change. The year was 1998. The group's first album was Snapshots From Limbo.
