Seams
Seams is an alias of Hampshire, England-born but Berlin, Germany-based producer James Welch, who pays his bills by working for online audio distributor SoundCloud as a product manager. He debuted his melodic home-listening techno in 2010, but he made significant strides during 2011 and 2012, when he released several singles for Picture Music and Full Time Hobby. In July 2012, the latter label combined a pair of four-track EPs for the Tourist/Sleeper compilation. Full-length debut Quarters, also released on Full Time Hobby, followed in September 2013.
