Sagan Youth

Sagan Youth (sometimes known as Sagan Youth Boys) are an underground electronic group based in Carrboro, North Carolina. Inspired by early electronic music, Krautrock, science fiction, and the band's namesake astronomer Carl Sagan, members Scotty, MC^2, and Mai Phili released an experimental cassette called Heliosheath in 2012. It was followed a year later by their debut album, Annotated Universe, which further developed their space-themed sonic explorations and dedication to analog synths. Cela, a concept album about a future expedition to Saturn's moon of Enceladus, was released in 2015.
