Rocky

Rocky is a French electro-pop outfit made up of multi-instrumentalists Tom Devos (percussion, keyboards), Olivier Bruggeman (keyboards, bass), Laurent Paingault (keyboards, guitar, bass) and singer Inès Kokou. In 2013, Rocky released the maxi Band Against the Wall, the precursor to a debut album entitled Soft Machines, recorded in 2015 in Brussels and Reims under the guidance of Guillaume Brière of The Shoes. Torn between the influences of Chicago house, Detroit techno, English new wave and futuristic R&B, Rocky nevertheless settles on a danceable electronic pop spiced up by Inès Kokou's vocals in English or Togolese dialect. Released in 2016, Soft Machines, simmered to perfection, finally hits record stores preceded by the majestic single "Apologize".
