Ricky Ruckus

Hailing from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, rapper Ricky Ruckus is a prolific independent force, consistently releasing strong projects on his Army of Gorillas Entertainment label and establishing himself as one of his city's sharpest talents. Ricky Ruckus grew steadily through the regular release of mixtapes. Beginning as far back as the mid-2000s, the rapper self-released projects like 2006's Hood Stripes and 2007's I Swear to God, catching the attention of local fans and taste-making DJs alike. Ruckus stayed on a steady grind throughout the 2000s, 2010s, and into the 2020s, releasing projects like 2015's aptly titled Never Not Working and 2020's God Got It.
