Remedios Amaya
Gypsy singer Remedios Amaya (born María Dolores Amaya Vega) debuted with the release of a self-titled album in 1978. Even when the Spanish artist used to be remembered for her unsuccessful performance in the prestigious Eurovisión festival at Munich, Germany, in 1983 with "La Cantora del Siglo XX" (The Flamenco Singer of the 20th century), she returned in 1998 with the top-selling Me Voy Contigo featuring flamenco, tango, and Spanish rumba, among other traditional rhythms.
