Rainald Grebe
Born in Cologne and educated at Berlin's Academy for Dramatic Arts, singer and songwriter Rainald Grebe was best known as part of the cabaret scene in Germany, performing all over the country and releasing a number of well-received albums. Beginning his professional career in 2000, Grebe released his first album -- The Farewell Concert -- in 2004. From there, he put out four more albums, plus a number of novels and hymnals, most of which received awards along the way. In addition to his solo work, Grebe also performed with his band, the Berlin Chapel of Reconciliation, in which he was featured on vocals and piano, with Martin Brewer on drums, and Marcus Baumgart on guitar. With Berlin Chapel, Grebe released the album 2008 to 1968 in 2008.
