Peach
London-born dance-pop trio Peach (known as Peach Union in the US) formed in 1995 and flourished in 1997 with hit single "On My Own", which made it to Number 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as topping the charts in Israel and Sweden. Comprised of London-based singer-songwriter Lisa Lamb, songwriter Paul Statham – who was known for his work with former Bauhaus member Peter Murphy –and record producer Pascal Gabriel – who had made a name for himself on the dance music scene through his work with artists like S'Express and Bomb the Bass – Peach released their one and only album, Audiopeach, in 1997, which was featured in the 1998 film Sliding Doors. The band went their separate ways shortly after the release of their album, but Gabriel and Statham remained a team and have written for the likes of Dido and Kylie Minogue.
