Padre Marcelo Rossi

Roman Catholic priest Marcelo Rossi (born Marcelo Mendonca Rossi) has inspired millions of Brazilians with his choreographies and singing, while preaching a spiritual message. A former gymnast, he became involved in Catholicism at the age of 21, making his debut in the recording industry with Terco Bizantino and Salmos Tematicos. In 1998, Father Marcelo Rossi decided to captivate a younger generation of followers by singing and dancing while performing Mass, in addition to hosting a radio and TV program. After issuing Músicas Para Louvar Ao Senhor, Um Presente Para Jesus, and Cancoes Para un Novo Milenio, Marcelo Rossi achieved the status of top-selling artist with Paz -- Ao Vivo, emerging as one of the most popular contemporary Christian music performers in Latin America.
