Os Barões da Pisadinha

Os Barões da Pisadinha, a Brazilian forró and piseiro group formed in December 2015 by Rodrigo Barão and Felipe Barão in Bahia, has become a national sensation by blending traditional rhythms with modern technobrega influences. Initially popular in Brazil’s North and Northeast regions, the duo achieved nationwide fame in 2019 when Neymar posted a video dancing to their breakout hit "Tá Rocheda" on social media. That same year, they signed with Sony Music, further amplifying their reach and leading to TV appearances on shows like Domingão do Faustão. Their 2020 live album, Conquistas, showcased chart-topping tracks such as "Esquema Preferido," "Recairei," "Basta Você Me Ligar" (featuring Xand Avião), and "Galera do Interior" (with Luan Estilizado). Their music even gained international attention with an English version of "Basta Você Me Ligar" by Canadian YouTuber Kim Sola, which became a hit on social media. In 2021, Os Barões da Pisadinha became only the second Brazilian act, after Anitta, to place two songs, "Recairei" and "Basta Você Me Ligar," in the streaming Global Top 50. That same year, they received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Sertaneja Music Album. With albums like Da Roça Pra Cidade (2021) and Resenha Preferida (2022), the duo continued to define and expand the boundaries of contemporary Brazilian forró.
