Mezcla
Oakland, California native singer/guitarist and arranger Pablo Menéndez formed Mezcla ("mixture" in Spanish) in 1985. As described by their name, Mezcla perform a mix of Afro-Caribbean rhythms, traditional jazz, and rock. In 2002, the world music-oriented label Khaeon released their album ¡Akimba!, recorded live at Havana's La Zorra y el Cuervo.
