Matisse & Sadko

Russian sibling duo Matisse & Sadko spin festival-sized house anthems with future bass and electro flair, akin to frequent collaborator Martin Garrix, as well as forebears Deep Dish and Swedish House Mafia. Debuting in the late 2000s, they issued a steady stream of singles, charting in 2015 with their joint EP, Break Through the Silence, with Garrix. Born Alexander and Yury Parkhomenko in Sosnovy Bor, they were solo artists in their own right before deciding to join forces under the Matisse & Sadko moniker. Early singles "Aforia," "A Day to Remember," and "Amulet" preceded their 2012 breakthrough hit "Trio" with Arty. Dozens of singles for labels such as DOORN, Spinnin, STMPD, Dim Mak, and others followed, notably 2013's "SLVR" with Steve Angello and 2014's "Azonto"; 2015's Break Through the Silence EP, a collaboration with Martin Garrix, also yielded a pair of singles -- the title track and "Dragon" -- that charted in Belgium. The following year, they delivered the 2016 Ice Hockey World Championship Anthem, "GO!," and launched their own label, Monomark Music, with the track "Machine Gun." Additional exercises with Garrix followed, namely 2016's "Together" and 2017's "Forever." 2018 yielded nearly a dozen singles, including "Into You" and "Dawnbreaker" with Tiesto off the Dutch DJ's EP I Like It Loud. In 2019, the pair issued their first single of the year with "Don't Tell Me," featuring Aspyer and Matluck.
