Mathilde

From the age of seven, Mathilde discovered her voice and took up singing at the Montpellier Conservatoire, alternating with her studies. She chose to sing jazz and spent two years in London perfecting her English and studying gospel. On her return in 2008, she appeared in Parisian clubs with guitarist Vladimir Médail. The press began to talk about her, before she auditioned for the fourth season of The Voice: la plus belle voix, which began airing in January 2015. The fact that she was eliminated from the show did not stop her from pursuing the path she had set herself, and she signed with the Naïve label, which supported her in the recording of her debut album. Focusing on interpretations of French chanson classics, Je Les Aime Tous sees her cover tunes by Edith Piaf and Serge Gainsbourg, surrounded by the likes of Jacky Terrasson (piano), Stéphane Belmondo (trumpet), Thomas Bramerie (double bass), Philippe Maniez (drums) and Brazilian singer and guitarist Márcio Faraco on two duets.
