Madi Davis

Folk-pop singer/songwriter Madi Davis delivered her debut single, "Child's Heart," in 2013 at the age of 14. A native of McKinney, Texas, Davis' strong voice and professional polish were immediately apparent and the rustic, introspective songs on her next release, 2014's Madi Anne Davis, belied her young age. In September 2015, after successfully auditioning for Season 9 of NBC's The Voice, Davis made a strong run, rising high into the show's semi-finals. Her moody, piano-led rendition of Cyndi Lauper's 1983 classic "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" became a surprise hit, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 in late November of that year. In addition to the major exposure she received from her appearance on The Voice, 2015 also saw the release of Davis' second EP, the more lushly produced What I Know.
