Lilia
Having been musically inclined since an early age, this Toronto area musician has performed around the bar circuit for years. Usually alone with her acoustic guitar, Lilia could be compared to Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt, among others, for her roots rock delivery. In 1998, she released her debut album, Perhaps. In 1999, Lilia performed at various music industry showcases, including the North by Northeast Festival in Toronto. She has also written instrumental scores for theater and dances. These pieces were performed at the Summer Works Theatre Festival and also the Fringe Festival of Independent Dance. In 2001, Lilia returned to the studio to record her second album. In 2002, Radio Friendly was released on BigBug Music. She is also a favorite among Canadian college radio stations.
