Klem Schen
Hailing from Aix-en-Provence, Klem Schen (born Clément Chotteau in 2001) is a French freestyle rapper known for his nostalgia-drenched lyrics and atmospheric trap beats. The MC went viral after he started uploading music videos to his YouTube channel in 2019, accumulating millions of views in a relatively short amount of time. That same year, he released two mixtapes, Blanc au Noir and Lueurs, which became very popular on streaming platforms due to the success of the singles “Peaky Blinders” and “Message,” respectively. Schen soon established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the French underground hip-hop scene with the EP Sang Noir (2020), which featured collaborations with producers JMass & Otta, and the single “Vision d’elle,” the title track off of his highly-anticipated debut album.
